Anyone interested or involved in meteorology can join The Royal Meteorological Society.
Our worldwide membership is made up of professionals, academics, students, teachers, enthusiasts and observers.
New members will receive a membership pack, a monthly Weather magazine, and a monthly email newsletter featuring event invitations. You can also take the further six Society journals online for only an additional £10 per year.
Members are entitled to stand for election to the Society’s Council and Committees. Members often volunteer to help run Local Centres, sit on Committees or participate in a wide-range of weather and climate projects.
The high number and achievements of our membership give us influence over science and policy.
Your membership fees help to fund our charitable activities in science and education, and supports member services.
